Our Advent List - Day 1

So yesterday was the first day of trying to do something each day to celebrate Christmas.  I will let Jason tell you what we did on his blog http://jasonmcgibbon.blogspot.com/2010/12/advent-conspiracy.html .

For my thoughts I will say.  I loved it.  It was a fantastic way to end the day.  Our family prayer time was especially meaningful for me as we prayed as individuals and as a family for the right attitude for Christmas.  I love hanging out with my family.

We are already working on today's activity and singing together as we do it.  The mood in our house is definitely full of Christmas cheer.  I will write about it tomorrow.

Have a fantastic day!

  2. Third Day - Christmas like a Child:

"It's been so long now, I can't say
Just when I lost my way
But I'm going back to how it was
    When this day meant everything
And we spent our time remembering
The baby Child born for us..."

excited to hear what else you have planned xo

  4. Thanks ladies for posting comments. I am glad that you are enjoying the posts. I am enjoying the experience. It will be interesting to see what other things I learn. I love that at the age of forty I am more excited about this Christmas then I remember being when I was a kid.

    Blessings,
    Kimberley
